  • Stephanie Tayler – Defence Munitions

Quality Ambassador

  • Alec Robson – DE&S Air Support
  • Gary Moss – DE&S Ships
  • Claire Smith – DE&S Air Quality Management

This year’s MOD Quality Awards, sponsored by the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI), have seen a record number of nominations with 52 entries, reflecting the growing pool of talent within the industry.

The event will serve as a platform to showcase the efforts and success of all those involved, and awards will be presented by senior leaders from across Defence and the CQI.

With a focus on fostering relationships within the wider Defence Enterprise, taking place ahead of the awards ceremony will be the annual MOD Quality Event. During which, attendees will hear from inspiring MOD, CQI and industry speakers and have the opportunity to collaborate and network.

The theme for the day is ‘from compliance to performance’ and guest presenters will include those from DE&S, as well as previous award winners, speaking on topics including quality, culture and wellbeing and leadership.

Interactive sessions will also provide an opportunity for continual professional development, along with time to ask questions on a range of defence-related quality topics.

Keiron Williams, Senior Quality Assurance Engineer and Event Lead Organiser, said:

“We are delighted to be hosting this year’s MOD Quality Event and MOD Quality Awards, bringing together all the inspirational individuals we have working together as One Defence. We look forward to the day’s events and wish all nominees the best of luck.”

The annual MOD Quality Event and MOD Quality Awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 6 November 2024 at the BAWA Club in Bristol.
