Job description for Supply Chain Manager

Do you have a passion for submarines? Come and join us in the Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA).

The SDA is collaborating with two commercial partners, BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce, to form the Dreadnought Alliance. This partnership aims to leverage the combined expertise of these organisations to deliver four submarines for the Dreadnought Programme, with an estimated whole life cost of £31 billion. The first submarine is expected to be ready for patrol in the early 2030s.

We are excited to offer a career opportunity as a Supply Chain Manager within the Dreadnought Supply and Support Team (DSST). The DSST is tasked with delivering Government Furnished Assets (GFA), which include equipment, information, and resources, into the Dreadnought Design and Build Programme. Additionally, the team manages the transition of the Dreadnought submarines into the Royal Navy, with a particular focus on Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).

We also provide training and development opportunities to help you build a career within the SDA. Additionally, we have a variety of staff networks where you can meet new people, share perspectives, and celebrate differences. When you join us, you’ll be joining a true community.

Due to the security requirements, the position is reserved for applications from sole UK Nationals only.
