Are you interested in developing your administration skills? Do you like working independently? This is a great opportunity to develop your administration and facilitation skills to provide support to the wider team!

Our team include around 50 – 60 staff across different areas with Stafford, whilst 5 other Facilities team members work at our Sealand site with one of these being the coordinator. Although you will be seen to work independently you will have guidance to follow processes and guidance of decisions that need to be made. You will be providing administrative support to our Estates & Facilities teams including the Facilities Management service teams that are based through contracted services.

You will also provide administrative support for the Greening Government Commitment initiative, liaising with the relevant stakeholders, ensuring regular data is obtained from energy, water and waste sources, resulting in monthly reporting on target position within MOD (Ministry of Defence).

This role will be ideal for you if you enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment, as you will need to be very reactive to hit delivery demands/targets across very short time scales. You will encounter a lot of cross team communications and interactions including our Operational Delivery teams as well as external contractors.

This role does require full time site attendance alongside the potential for some hybrid working.

What you’ll be doing

  • The Business Co-Ordinator provides support to ensure effective Business Management Services on a day-to-day basis to multiple stakeholders
  • Provide support in the provision of advice and guidance to Team Leaders
  • Assist in preparing Management Information (MI), including analysis, for regular management meetings
  • Collate information and data to assist in providing Business Intelligence
  • Act as a focal point for internal communications and secretariat business
  • Coordinate and support implementation of continuous improvement

Person specification

To be successful with your application, you’ll need to show that you meet the following essential criteria:

  • Previous experience of working within a busy Facilities Management department especially working on an outsourced contract

In addition to the responsibilities above, the following technical competences and behaviours will be assessed at interview:

  • Customer Service (iLog) Supervised Practitioner
  • Change Management (PM) Awareness
  • Working Together CSBC 3
  • Managing a Quality Service CSBC 3
