The DE&S Corporate Plan for 2024-27 has been published.

Our plan sets out a vision for the next three years as we deliver our strategic objectives “Today, Tomorrow, Together” and transform our operating model so we can better respond to a more volatile and dangerous world.

Putting agility, pace and collaboration at the heart of DE&S, the new model is driving operational excellence as we strive to equip our armed forces with the edge to protect our nation and help it prosper.

Included in the plan are our three priorities for the year ahead:

• Continuing to deliver support to operations, including Ukraine
• Implementing our new operating model
• Improving delivery performance by accelerating time to contract and improving supplier delivery performance

Dr Jill Hatcher, DE&S Director General Corporate, said: “Between 2024 and 2034 we will deliver more than £100 billion worth of equipment and support for the UK’s Armed Forces.

“This Corporate Plan provides a strong foundation from which we can do that better than ever before.

“We are committed to driving further change and improvement to our ways of working so we are faster, more efficient and agile, as we make the collective cultural shift to become an even higher-performing organisation.”

The plan is underpinned by our strategy of delivering the outputs our armed forces need Today, sharpening Defence’s edge for Tomorrow and driving efficiency and competitiveness Together.
