Dedicated DE&S people have been recognised in the 2025 New Year Honours list.
They will receive awards for their outstanding service to UK defence, including crucial contributions made in the areas of logistics, capability and military communications.
The UK honours system rewards people for exceptional achievements, merit, service or bravery. They are given to deserving and high-achieving people from every section of life.
They are awarded by King Charles III, following recommendations by the Cabinet Office. Members of the public can also recommend people for an award.
The Honours List is announced twice a year – at New Year and on the King’s official birthday in June. The awards are presented to recipients by members of the Royal Family throughout the year at investiture ceremonies.
DE&S CEO Andy Start said: “I am always proud of our people, but it is a source of extra pride to see our military and civilian staff recognised in the New Year Honours list.
“Equipping our armed forces with the edge to protect our nation is at the heart of what we do and to be recognised in this way is no less than they deserve. A huge congratulations to all.”
Chief Technician Bradley Parry, who works in Through Life Support for the Typhoon Delivery Team, has been appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE).
