Job Description for Infrastructure Project Delivery and Communications Officer

Join us as an Infrastructure Project Delivery and Communications Officer, and you’ll manage the full life cycle of projects from inception to completion and act as a focal point for all ongoing requirements in your business area. In this role, you’ll work in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders, including industry partners, delivery suppliers and site occupants.
The role duties span from project liaison and project management support to the associated communication of projects, their benefits and impacts. Producing good communication briefs, holding regular meetings and reporting on progress, delivery and future infrastructure plans.
The role may come with delegated financial responsibilities and the need to develop furniture procurement, relocation and infrastructure work requirements to be taken forward via commercial delivery teams.
The roles are Bristol based but may require support for projects on other MOD sites, although this will be managed from Abbey Wood. Please note some attendance to Abbey Wood will be required.

Responsibilities for Infrastructure Project Delivery and Communications Officer
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
• Facilities Management and key project site communications
• Co-ordination of key stakeholder meetings to support projects
• Management and coordination of critical site instruction documents
• Facilities Management contract transition support
• Support the delivery of key security projects
• Development of high-level Facilities Management briefing packs and slide decks for a range of meetings
• Development of new site and FM investments, improvements communication packages
What you will be assessed against
To be successful with your application you must demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
- Demonstrable experience in communications or stakeholder management and/or
- Experience supporting in the delivery of projects
It will also benefit your application if you are able to demonstrate the following desirable criteria:
- Work experience in the following areas: Communications, Project liaison, Project management
In addition to the responsibilities above, the following technical competencies and behaviours will be assessed at interview:
