Why did you choose to pursue a career in DE&S?
Getting involved in a transformation of this scale has provided an opportunity to make a real difference to the people practices here at DE&S.
What does your role entail?
I lead the COE that looks after talent (including identification, development, entry talent and the management of our senior leadership group), organisation development (including learning and development, behaviours and change) and diversity and inclusion.
What are the opportunities to develop and progress within your function?
If you are keen to learn, there are plenty of opportunities to develop in your role. I have been able to get involved in lots of interesting and challenging projects and have expanded my portfolio of work significantly since I joined.
We also offer a wide range of learning opportunities, such as mentoring, apprenticeships (up to level 7) and formal qualifications where appropriate.
